Just a little something

This was just a quick page I made for my daughter champagne. She is always being silly this time it was at the mall on an all girl shopping trip with me and her friends. She hopped up onto one of the kiddie rides in the middle of the mall. I just had to snap a shot. I wanted to keep the page simple so I left my cricut alone on this one. Just pretty paper some ribbon, gems and flowers.

So without further ado here is the card i made. I tried to keep it simple with just a few found items in my crafting stash.........this time i left "Sally" my cricut with her power shut off.  I just got this new paper that i knew i wanted to use. As I was looking thru my drawers i found this sweet large flower that seemed to brighten up the paper. Then came along these sweet little metal butterflies with a blue accent for the blue paper. Once I found all that the lace trim just jumped off the shelf at me. Hope you like it and join us again for our next sketch hop!!!
Now it's off to Susan's blog for you.....have fun!!!!

More locker tags

Hello every one, its week 3 into the high school football season here so another week of locker tags. It's all i seem to do anymore. This week i tried to make it easier for my daughter to hang them up on the lockers so i put magnets on the back so all she had to do was walk by and slap the up.....she wined about the tape i gave her. she got it all wrapped up on her fingers and made a mess. I can see i have alot to teach her about crafting!!!!

Card Sketch Hop on sept 17 & 18th at the Crafty Card Gallery Blog Day 2

Welcome back everyone for Day 2 of this fabulous card sketch hop. First off i want to say a big congratulations to all the designers for all the wonderful cards from day 1......GREAT JOB!!! I'm glad you have come back to hop with us on day 2, i think we are in store for more wonderful designs. If your new today and want to see the original lineup it is below in my post from yesterday.

Ok, it's now off to today's card. I took the same sketch and this time decided to make it a bit more elegant. I went with a one word sentiment and an all white card with a hint of baby blue. I hope you like it. This sketch hop just goes to prove you can take one design and turn it into hundreds of cards.

Thanks for hopping with us and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Crafty Card Gallery Sketch Blog Hop Sept 17 & 18th

Hi! Welcome to the Sketch blog hop! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! Be sure to check back on Sunday, as there will be some bloggers posting cards on day 2. So sit back & be inspired!

If you came here from Jennifer's blog then you have come to the right place. If not than the line up is listed below, it's always best to start at the beginning and hop right to the end. Remember to hop both days, many of these talented ladies have made two cards for the same sketch to share with you.  HAVE FUN!!!

Well enough with the formalities lets get to the fun. The first card i have made to share with you all on day 1 of the hop is a general card made with cuts from my new favorite cart Create a Critter. I made the money, the vines and the sentiment from the same cart. I added some ribbon, an embellished paperclip and bit of glitter......every thing is better with chocolate and glitter!!!! Super quick and easy to make. I hope this gave you alittle crafting nudge. Check back tomorrow to see the same sketch but a different way.

Now it's off to Kerry's Blog to see what she has in store for you!!!
Thanks for hopping to my page
